Your Papillion Orthodontist
Meet Dr. Chanel Torres
Background
Orthodontist, coffee lover, and lifelong sports fan, Dr. Torres was born in Fort Lauderdale, Fl, and raised in the Tampa Bay area.
In high school, she balanced academics with her love of athletics, playing flag football and cheering on her schoolβs teams, especially when it came to soccer, her all-time favorite sport.
Dr. Torres went on to attend the University of Florida (Go Gators!), where she earned a Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration. Proud of her Hispanic heritage, she is fluent in Spanish and values connecting with patients and families from all backgrounds.
Education and Experience
Dr. Torres earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and handpicked for the Orthodontic Honors Program.
Her passion for creating confident smiles then took her west to the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, along with a Master of Science in Dentistry.
Outside of the Office
When Dr. Torres isnβt creating beautiful smiles at the office, sheβs spending time with her fiancΓ© and their sweet Portuguese Water Dog puppy, Manolo, who hasnβt met a park he doesnβt love.
Dr. Torres and Federico love going to a Saturday morning workout class, followed by a good cup of coffee and a visit to the farmers market. They also enjoy traveling, trying out new restaurants, and cheering on their favorite soccer team, FC Barcelona. They cherish spending the holidays with family, making memories, and enjoying quality time together.
