About
Dr. Nathan J. Hawley
Papillon, NE Orthodontist, Dr. Nathan Hawley was born and raised in sunny California and has always had a love for football, a good BBQ and the great outdoors. He now lives in Gretna with his wife Stacie and their four beautiful (and very active) daughters. Having grown up surrounded by only sisters, and now as the father of only daughters, he’s become quite the expert on princesses and dance parties. However, busting a move and being able to fashion a fancy crown out of household items aren’t his only talents. Dr. Hawley is also fluent in Spanish, which he perfected after serving a two-year mission in Paraguay.
Dr. Hawley’s education took him and his family across the United States and they’ve enjoyed getting to know so many parts of the country. He received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and then earned his dental degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He finished his training at the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!) where he completed a fellowship in craniofacial biology, a master’s degree in dentistry and a residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
During his years of training, Dr. Hawley was honored with multiple awards and recognitions including the Dean’s Leadership Award, the Student Excellence Award, the Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Academic Achievements and the Henry M. Thornton Fellowship. He’s authored seven articles in peer-reviewed journals and has given presentations at local, national and international dental meetings. Last, but certainly not least, Dr. Hawley is an Eagle Scout and is still a Dentistry Merit Badge counselor.
Dr. Hawley is dedicated to providing his Omaha area patients with personalized, high-quality care in a fun atmosphere. He relies on advanced technology, his extensive training and knowledge and an amazing team to achieve fantastic results. He looks forward to meeting you and helping you reach your smile goals! She attended a small high school where she had the unique opportunity of participating in a wide range of extracurriculars, including volleyball, softball, cheerleading, soccer and math team. Dr. Brace then went to the University of Missouri (Go Mizzou Tigers!) in Columbia, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology.
Dr. Brace received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. While there, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, Rho Chapter, and was selected to be in the Orthodontic Honors Program. Next, Dr. Brace headed to University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, where she received her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology. During her specialty training, she also conducted research on the biomechanics of a tip-back bend archwire.
At Hawley Orthodontics, Dr. Brace is dedicated to creating radiant smiles that cater to each patient’s unique needs. Her goal is to provide high quality, innovative orthodontic care to the community with genuine passion and warmth. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and their families.
When Dr. Brace isn’t transforming smiles, she can be found with her husband, Derek, and their spoiled, smart, very active four-year-old black lab-border collie mix, Mac. Dr. Brace and Derek love being outdoors, staying active, traveling and trying new recipes (their most recent was homemade ravioli). Dr. Brace also values spending quality time with her family, friends and loved ones, including her dad and stepmom, younger brother, two stepsisters and nieces and nephews.
